Pool fees that quietly erase thin desktop margins

Large farms shrug at a one-percent pool fee. A single-card desk that barely clears electricity does not. During Profitability Reviews we treat the fee as a first-class cost, equal in dignity to wattage.
Where traders undercount
- Payout thresholds that force longer unpaid balances
- Temporary higher fees during coin switches
- Abandoned workers still reporting and skewing dashboards
A practical check
Take last month’s credited amount before fee and after fee. Divide by hashing hours. Compare that net hourly credit to your cost-per-hashing-hour from the electricity sheet. If the gap is thinner than a few hundred won, difficulty noise alone can flip the week negative.
We would rather show a narrow margin honestly than polish it with optimistic fee assumptions from a marketing page.
